The WirelessAIR (Advanced Integrated Remote) is designed for automatic digital leveling of the on-board compressor system. The WirelessAir kit includes a compressor, manifold, wiring harness, and wireless digital controller. About the size of a garage door opener, the wireless controller, conveniently clips to a vehicle’s visor.
For maximum flexibility, the system controls two air springs independently and can be used in or outside the vehicle, making it easy to make adjustments in full view of the vehicle. The compact, battery-powered unit also features advanced integrated diagnostic capabilities for increased safety and peace of mind.
Two user-defined memory buttons are provided for frequently used settings. As an added safety measure, minimum air pressures are automatically maintained. The manifold is also weather resistant and waterproof up to 2 ft for maximum life expectancy
Tech notes:
The Driver Interface Unit (Remote) has nine push buttons that are used to activate the remote and control all system features. The Electronic Control Unit (Wireless Manifold) is a board-on-coil design incorporating onboard pressure sensors. The system communicates using 2.4GHz radio modules, with measures taken to ensure that the DIU and ECU only accept information from the unit to which they have been joined.
Due to the three valve design of the manifold, the system is not capable of simultaneous fill and dump operations on the two airbag circuits. A new setting sent to the ECU requiring both a fill and dump will be accomplished by doing the dump first followed by the fill.
