Drawbars attach rigidly to the frame and are held in place with bolts. Draw bars are available in weld on or bolt on varieties.

One variety of bolt-on drawbars features a square mounting base with mounting holes to accommodate bolting to the frame.

Another variety of bolt-on drawbars feature a rectangular shank with mounting holes. Yet another variety is the shank mount bolt-on drawbar. This type of drawbar uses a large shank and nut to develop a clamping force between the drawbar and its mounting surface. This style drawbar cannot be used as a swivel drawbar because the clamping force is needed to develop the rated capacities.
