We purchase our leaf springs from a few different suppliers that are located in Mexico, China and North America. The leaf springs are purchased from companies that are original equipment suppliers to Chrysler, General Motors, Ford, Grupo Dina, Mercedez Benz, Nissan, Famsa, etc. and are of ISO 9001 certified. The leaf springs have a 2 year warranty against manufacturer defects. Where they come from specifically will depend on our inventory. Feel free to call us at 1-800-358-4751 at any time and we can check our warehouse and check the springs are see what suppliers we have in stock, typically at these competitive prices they are from China or Mexico.

  • Q:

i have a 94 Chevy C1500 and i was interested in these would fit on my truck without any modifications. I've seen your shipping and its about $133. i want to make sure that this will fit 100%. cause your return policy says i have to eat the shipping cost. Can you assure me that this will fit cause the fitment says its an exact fit.

This leaf spring does match your vehicle. This is an aftermarket heavy duty leaf spring that fits a 1988-1998 C1500 Chevy. We do recommend measuring the dimensions of the spring currently in the truck and match it to the dimensions of the new spring to verify these will be an exact fit to be safe. This leaf spring weighs around 107 lbs., which is why the shipping is high. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask or call us at 1-800-358-4751.

  • Q:

Can I install these on a 89 chevy c2500 7200lb gvw? I tow a lot and would like a better ride while pulling. I believe I currently have 5 leave springs.

Yes, you can use the 22-797HD on your 1989 C2500. We have put these leaf springs on 1989 C-2500's in our shop. They are a heavier duty leaf spring and because of the extra steel the ride will be a stiffer, but they will work well if you haul / tow more and use your pickup more as a workhorse.

Product Details

Your leaf springs are one of the most important parts of your suspension. If you leaf springs are shot or showing fatigue from old age, it is recommended to change them both out at the same time. If you only change one leaf spring, it is common that your truck will lean toward the side with the older leaf spring.

Replacing your leaf springs with a high quality OEM leaf spring from Michigan Truck Spring will help your ride in many ways.

  • Less bounce, which means more solid contact with the road and therefore longer tire life.
  • Driver comfort is greatly improved.
  • Your payload sits tight, significantly reducing cargo damage.
  • Smoother ride and less bottoming out.
  • Safety! Your truck will handle better which means it’s safer.

All of our leaf springs we sell at TruckSpring.com are made to or exceed OEM quality.

  • Made from SAE 5160 Steel, Same as OEM leaf springs.
  • All raw steel is manufactured by steel mills that use the continuous cast (Stran-cast) process, same as OEM leaf springs.
  • Each leaf from the leaf springs is shot peened to specific intensity and coverage.
  • Each leaf spring is coated to prevent corrosion and rust.

If you have any questions about how to identify the correct leaf spring for your vehicle or need bolts or other replacement parts with it, feel free to call us at 1-800-358-4751.

Leaf Springs

At TruckSpring / Michigan Truck Spring, we obtain our leaf springs from various sources throughout the world. All of the manufacturers that we represent produce leaf springs that are as good as or better quality than OEM springs.

Virtually no vehicle manufacturer actually manufactures their own leaf springs. Like many other truck components, leaf springs are purchased from companies specializing in supplying parts to truck manufacturers. The springs we sell have the same or better quality as OEM springs and many times are purchased from the same manufacturer.
