Hellwig Pro Series - The Next Generation of Load Assist Springs

Hellwig manufactures these ASTM 5150 alloy springs in their California factory. These helper springs will increase load capacity up to your vehicles gross weight rating. With it's progressive rate design this helper spring system enables trucks and vans to carry loads with more control and stability. As your load increases the spring automatically increases it's capacity rate to resist sagging and tail dragging. The Pro Series springs are packaged in one box and include all the heavy duty hardware and installation instructions, these springs can be installed in our professional shop or in your own drive way. Installation is simple and can be done using common hand tools make the Pro Series helper spring a popular and easy to use solution to assist you in all your Tow and Haul needs. The springs can be adjusted to suit your hauling needs by adjusting the heavy duty u-bolts provided.

Progressive Rate Helper Spring

Progressive rate steel leaves do not effect your trucks ride when unloaded. The progressive rate design of the Pro Series Hellwig helper spring system enables your truck to carry loads with more control and stability. As the load on your truck increases, the Hellwig spring automatically increases its rate to resist sagging and tail dragging. They are also adjustable by simply tightening or loosening the heavy duty u-bolts to suit your towing requirement.

TruckSpring is a warehouse distributor for Hellwig products and we have been installing Hellwig air spring kits, Hellwig sway bars and Hellwig steel helper springs kits at our shop for years at our Michigan repair facility. We have a great working relationship with Hellwig and are very familiar with all of their suspension products. Hellwig products are made in the USA and we highly recommend them.

The history of Hellwig Products Co, Inc. began in Kansas City, Kansas in the early forties. With son Donald by his side, Rudolph, " Ruddy" Hellwig, began designing and manufacturing "Helper Springs". The business was moved to Southern California in the mid forties and incorporated in 1946.

By the mid 60's the company's southern California location proved to be to small and Don moved the Manufacturing facility to its current location in Visalia, California. Throughout the years Hellwig products has developed innovative suspension products that help vehicles handle loads and control sway. Products include Anti-Sway bars aftermarket and O.E.M. Also the most popular and imitated load assist products ever introduced to the light truck aftermarket, the "Load Pro 25 Series".

With a third generation of Hellwig, Don's son Mark directing the business a whole new series of innovations is being introduced. Included in these innovations is the "Next Generation" of load assist springs the patented "Pro Series" line of springs. Plus, a unique adjustable feature on new Anti-sway bar designs. Hellwig is proud to introduce the "FastRack" motorcycle racking system for toyhaulers and light trucks. Now beginning its 60th year Hellwig Products continues to introduce new materials, processes and manufacturing techniques into its product lines.

Damage from accidents, corrosion, improper installation, incorrect applications, overloading, and custom applications that are not specified under the OEM cross references. This warranty does not cover loss of freight, loss of profit, equipment, or personal downtime. Hellwig’s warranties are non-transferrable.
