Hellwig Load Pro 25 Helper Springs

This Hellwig helper spring set features Progressive Spring Rate and Fulltime Spring Rate design, this spring is the workhorse of the Hellwig Spring line. With the Progressive design the vehicle must be loaded and its spring compressed to activate the Hellwig Spring, so as the vehicles load increases the Hellwig Helper Spring progressively increases its resistance to the load. In the Fulltime design the Hellwig Spring reacts immediately to the vehicles load, compressing very little as load is applied to the vehicle.

Manufactured with heat treated ASTM 5160 alloy spring steel these units increase your vehicles level load carrying capacity up to the manufacturer’s Gross Vehicle Weight Rating. Designed to install on full size pick-up trucks and vans, this unit requires mounting hardware to accommodate either 2 1/2" or 3" wide leaf springs. Ideal for helping manage your load more efficiently, these kits are easy to install and require little or no maintenance. Just "Set it and forget it". The LP 25 is rated at 2500lbs level load carrying capacity, do not exceed the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating.

The Hellwig Load Pro 25 Series helper spring is designed for full sized pickup trucks, vans, RVs, and sport utility vehicles. The kit contains 2 heavy duty leaf assemblies that run over both sides of the axle. A mounting hardware kit is included with these heavy duty helper springs.

Will this still work on my 1/2 ton truck even though I have a two inch lift via an added leaf spring?

Hellwig Load Pro spring kit 2515-25250 will work on a 1/2 ton truck with a 2" lift via a leaf spring if the arch is the same. If the arch on the leaf spring has been changed to achieve the lift, they kit may not work. Also, if the center bolt is over 4 5/8" the kit may requires longer u-bolts. Does this product add height to the rear end when truck is empty?

Hellwig Helper Springs will not provide lift above stock height when the truck is empty. Hellwig helper springs are designed to provide support and prevent the back of your truck from sagging rather than lift.
