Comments about Firestone Double Convoluted Air Spring - 267C1.5 Style - 1/8 NPT Combo Stud:

This went on a 2007 Chevrolet 1500. The product did not appear to properly fit. after being reassured by tec support I installed it. after first trip left air bag developed a leak. I replaced the air bag. after several months it went on the next trip. again the left air bag developed a leak. I called to verify the correct application. once again I was assured this was the correct fit. I ordered another bag. after studing the instalation I determined that I needed to add a piece of angle iron to the frame to have somthing to keep the air bag from shifting. It became obvious the recomended bag is not the correct application for this truck. I asked to share cost of the last bag ans was denied. This is the reason for this bad review.

      A:

Firestone air spring 6397 is rated at 2,400 lbs. at 100 psi. Firestone air spring kit 2320 is designed for the 2001 Ford F-150. Firestone does not make an air bag kit that uses the double convoluted air springs like the 6397 for an F-150. A:

We are not showing an air bag for a 1975 - 1979 apollo. If it has existing air bags on it from a custom application, we would need numbers off the air bags to match up.
