Timbren Kits - Overview

Timbren Suspension Enhancement Systems work in conjunction with the existing suspension, to improve your ride and to protect the vehicle against the effects of overloading.

Hollow Timbren rubber springs are mounted between the truck frame and the axle. They do not take the place of the existing leaf spring, but work in conjunction with it, acting as a bump stop, to improve the ride of your truck and to protect springs against overloading.

Timbren Ride Control products enhance a vehicle's empty ride quality, while providing protection against overloading, road shock, bottoming out, sway and broken springs. Timbren Front axle kits prevent front end nose diving. Together, these features provide a smooth, level ride, even with heavy loads.

Suspension Sag:

Heavy loads cause the front or rear suspension to deflect lower than desired. Powerful, durable hollow rubber cushions help carry the heaviest loads easily. Road shock is absorbed, reducing wear and tear on suspensions. The Timbren load booster acts as bump stop, to eliminate bottoming out on bumps.

Trailer Sway

I have a 2011 Ram 1500 Quad Cab with 2" lift. Do I need a spacer and if so do you sell?

Do I still need equalizer hitch setup?

This will depend on your vehicle and trailer setup. We have customers towing with Timbren SES bump stops and not using an equalizer hitch and others that do. They will help provide load support and reduce some of the sway, but if you have excessive sway an equalizer hitch may be recommended.

I have a 2012 1500 Laramie CC, I pull a 6000lb TT utilizing a Reese WDH. Question, would the Timbrens be a useful addition or counter active using both?

If your truck is still squatting with the weight of the trailer despite the weight distribution hitch the Timbrens would be a great addition to the towing package. You may need to adjust the weight distribution hitch after the TImbrens are installed but we have had many people run both with no issues.

I see them for the 1500 Dodge Ram, what about the 2500 Dodge Ram 4x4? Please advise

Yes, we do have kits for the 2500 RAM 4x4. The new Ram kits are listed under 'RAM' in our search by vehicle rather than 'Dodge'. Timbren kit DR2500CA will fit the 2003-2014 RAM 2500 4x4 and Timbren Kit DR2500D will fit the 2015-2016 RAM 2500.

I have a 2012 ram 1500 laramie. Will these fit on my truck?

Timbren kit DR1500DQ will fit your 2012 RAM 1500 Laramie as long as it is a Crew Cab or Quad Cab. If you do not have a crew cab or quad cab you will need Timbren kit DR1500DS.

I have a 2009 dodge ram 1500 trx4 offroad quad cab with coil springs in the back. Will these still fit my truck

Yes, Timbren kit DR1500DQ will work on a 2009 Dodge RAM 1500 TRX4 Quad cab with coil springs. The Timbren springs replaces the factory urethane bump-stop (typically yellow) that sits just inboard of the coil springs. This Timbren kit will work as long as you do not have air suspension.

What the warranty does not cover

Normal wear and tear over time, damage from abuse or neglect, corrosion, and damage resulting from accidents is not covered. Improper installation including welding will void any warranty. Any alteration of products beyond the included installation instructions will void the warranty. Labor, freight, collateral damage or ancillary costs which may arise as a result of the failed part.
