An internal dividing piston allows the oil to expand as it warms up preventing extra stress on seals and eliminating fade. Using your factory coil spring the 5100 series ride height adjustable struts offer five position options for lifting the front of your truck or SUV up to 2.75” depending on application. Using a snap ring to change the position of your lower coil spring seat you can quickly change the adjustment of the lift height before you install the struts. The only additional cost is the price of a front end alignment after the struts are installed, there are no hidden surprises with Bilstein. By using the strut itself to provide the lift you avoid adding extra components to the front end keeping it simple and reliable.
