We have install this device in a VR pulling a trailer.There is electricity at entry of the device. But no light appears on the device and the brakes are not functioning on the trailer. Can you suggest what can be the problem.

We recommend checking the ground wire and verify it is connected correctly. The brake controller should have 4 wires, it appears one of them is not wired correctly.
