A clamp-mount, swivel style pintle hook designed for over-the-road and off-road applications. The spring provides shock absorption at the coupling—ideal for utility and construction applications.

Replaces PH-T-90-A and PH-T-100-A

Capacities:

6,000 lbs. Maximum Vertical Load
30,000 lbs. Maximum Gross Trailer Weight

Features:

Forged from a special steel alloy that is heat treated for strength and durability
A steel spring provides shock absorption
Cast ductile iron mounting flanges for 5/8 inch plate.
For off-road applications, reduce the above maximum capacities by 25%. Not for use with a swivel-mount drawbar
Tested in accordance with SAE J847 (Type II)

Drawbar Eye Dimensions
2.38 inch to 3 inch I.D. with 1.25 inch to 1.63 inch diameter section.

Do you offer a 2.5" pintal hitch receiver that can withstand 30,000 lbs.?

SAF Holland part PH-30SA41 would have to be mounted to a crossmember or beam. The largest capacity 2.5" hitch receiver we offer is part 45294 which has a 18,000 lbs. capacity.

I am pulling a 6500lb. chipper, with an F-450 cab and chipbox. Is 15,000 a good choice for the spring loaded pintle?
