Customer Q&A - Bilstein 199021

Does this come as a package of two or is it just a single coil and I need to order two?

Asked
Bilstein 199021 is sold individually. You will need to order a quantity of 2 for a pair.

I purchased a set of rear bilstein shocks 4600 for my 02 RWD Chevy Tahoe but noticed the suspension a little soft . Do I need to replace my rear coils as well?

Asked
If your truck was equipped with the Nivomat type shocks in the rear it will require the springs to be replaced as well. The Nivomat type shocks were used on trucks with the ZW7 suspension option. The Nivomat shock is a self contained leveling shock that would adjust the ride height as the vehicle drove down the road. Most likely if the rear shocks were changed and the ride height changed your truck had the Nivomat option because typical shocks do not support any weight. Feel free to call us at 1-800-358-4751 if you have any additional questions.
