I'm restoring a 2002 36 volt EZ-GO golf cart. The tail lights are from Vehicle Safety MFG. PIPC 89. 2" in diameter and aprox. 9/16th in depth on the red lense. Will the VSN 1035 red side clearance marker work as a replacement. Don't care that's an LED lamp so long as it is 12 volt comparable. The rubber collar is still very flexible. Measuring this lamp with a measuring tape the diameter is 2" and the depth of the light where it will contact the rubber grommet is at 9/16" of an inch. The lens is slightly convex so from the convex center to the back of the lens is around 11/16" and the total depth of the light including the convex center of the lens and the electrical connections is about 3/4" These are LED and they are 12V compatible.
