Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs

Firestone air helper springs are designed to fit inside existing coil spring suspensions, creating a variable rate spring. These air helper springs are made of durable, elastic polyurethane providing years of comfort and stability to your vehicle.

Coil-Rite air helper springs provide extra support for coil springs in cars, minivans, vans, light trucks, RVs and SUVs. The complete adjustability of these air helper springs will level your vehicle, provide a smoother ride, more effective braking and handling, even under heavy loading and adverse road conditions.

Firestone's Coil-Rite air helper springs enable adjustment for varying loads and road conditions by inflating or deflating the air helper springs. Spring performance can be altered as easily as inflating a tire. The air springs will support 500-1000 lbs per set.(Note: Do not exceed the vehicle's recommended Gross Vehicle Weight Rating)

I do not show that these are compatible with your vehicle. If you can provide inside dimensions of the coil spring we can try to locate an air spring that will work inside that spring.

My 2011 avalanche ls is lowered 4"in the rear with coil springs. Will this kit still fit and work for me?

These kits are designed for stock height vehicles and will not fit a lowered application. If the inside diameter of the coil springs is not stock, they will not fit correctly.

So if I have a 6" lift, is there a spacer that can be bought to fill the void, I believe these to be 10" bags

We do not have a spacer that would fill a 6 inch void. These bags are for stock coil springs and are 4.75" x 10.00". The tallest spacers we have for coil springs are only 2.5 inches tall.

Is this ok to support my camper about 3000 lbs at the tong?

Firestone Coil-Rite kit 4108 has a capacity of 1,000 lbs. If you camper has a tongue weight of 3,000 lbs, it will be too heavy for the air bags. The trailer tongue weight is typically around 10 to 15% of the total loaded trailer weight. So, a 3,000 lbs. tongue weight would be around a 18,000 lbs. trailer, which is heavy for coil springs. What this warranty does not cover

Damage from accidents, corrosion, improper installation, incorrect applications, overloading, and custom applications that are not specified under the OEM cross references. This warranty does not cover loss of freight, loss of profit, equipment, or personal downtime.

Limited Lifetime Warranty

On Air Springs included in Ride-Rite, Sport-Rite, Coil-Rite, and Level-Rite kits.

2 Year Warranty

On brackets and hardware included in Ride-Rite air spring and Ride-Rite compressor kits.

2 Year Warranty

On Work-Rite urethane products.

2 Year Warranty

On Heavy Duty, Xtra Heavy Duty, and Xtreme compressor systems.

1 Year Warranty

On Light Duty and Standard Duty Ride-Rite compressor kits.

Firestone warrants its products against defects in workmanship or material for the above.

How to get service

If you purchased your air springs in the U.S. or Canada and believe you have a part with a warrantable defect, call Firestone Customer Service at 1-800-888-0650 (option 1 for Ride-Rite, option 1 again, then option 4 for warranty). Representatives are available from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (EST) Monday – Friday.
