Firestone Red Label Extreme Duty Air Spring kits are designed to give your vehicle extra support over a standard Ride-Rite kit. Rated at up to 7,500 lbs. load carrying capabilities, Firestone Red Label Extreme Duty Air Spring kits feature stronger brackets over the standard Ride-Rite kit, commercial grade rubber, stronger nuts and bolts and a 150 psi operating pressure. These upgrades provide superior load support and towing and are perfect for slide out campers, loaded trailers and boats.

Firestone Red Label Extreme Duty Air Springs mount between the frame and suspension to provide load support through the use of air pressure to adjust for changing loads.

Does firestone 8873 have an internal jounce stop?

Firestone Red Label air springs do not have internal jounce stops in them.

Has anyone used firestone kit W217602706 on a Ram 2500, 2014 and up and removed coil springs? This set is rated almost 2000 lbs higher than a set that replaces coil springs from another co. I want to go air bags only and best option I have found for direct coil replacement is rated 5550 lbs

We have not tried it. Removing the coil springs would put all the weight on the air bags. They can handle the weight, but you would be running them at a higher psi, which could result in the stiffer ride.

Can I remove factory coils when using Firestone red label kit2706 on my 2016 ram 2500?

We do not recommend removing your factory coils spring when using the Firestone 2706 kit. Removing the coil springs would push all the weight to the airbags. You would have to consistently use them at a high air pressure, which could result in a stiffer than desired ride.

Firestone warrants its HD Air Spring products against defects in workmanship or material for a period of 2 years.

What this warranty does not cover

Damage from accidents, corrosion, improper installation, incorrect applications, overloading, and custom applications that are not specified under the OEM cross references. This warranty does not cover loss of freight, loss of profit, equipment, or personal downtime.
