What hitch pin do I need ?

The Tow Ready Trailer Hitch Receiver extension uses 5/8" diameter hitch pins. The pins are the same as you would use in 2 or 2-1/2" trailer hitch ballmount. Hitch pin 80950 is the most common.

I am looking for a way to haul a 225 lb. dirt bike and tow a boat trailer at the same time. If I were to build a carrier and mount it to the extension and placed my normal 2" ball into the end of the extension, would this possibly be exceptable? Thanks.

The 80306 hitch extension is designed for slide-out campers with extended overhangs or to provide extra space for bike racks, etc. that are mounted to the rear of your truck. Unfortunately, it is not designed to support weight. The highest tongue weight it can support is 300 lbs. or 50 percent of hitch rating. So, if you put 225 lbs on top of it, it wouldn't leave you much capacity for the trailer. We would not recommend it.
