Pull a 28' trailer. Need to extend the hitch about 12" Your extension will do it. Can it handle the weight of trailer and will any damage occur to the truck receiver? Have a 2006 1 ton 3500 Dodge Cummins 2 wheel drive stick shift.

This extension is rated for 300 LBS tongue weight and 3500LBS trailer weight maximum. If the tongue weight and trailer weight is under these ratings it will be safe and no damage will occur to the tow vehicle or trailer.
