Timbren Kits - Overview

Timbren Suspension Enhancement Systems work in conjunction with the existing suspension, to improve your ride and to protect the vehicle against the effects of overloading.

Hollow Timbren rubber springs are mounted between the truck frame and the axle. They do not take the place of the existing leaf spring, but work in conjunction with it, acting as a bump stop, to improve the ride of your truck and to protect springs against overloading.

Timbren Ride Control products enhance a vehicle's empty ride quality, while providing protection against overloading, road shock, bottoming out, sway and broken springs. Timbren Front axle kits prevent front end nose diving. Together, these features provide a smooth, level ride, even with heavy loads.

Suspension Sag:

Heavy loads cause the front or rear suspension to deflect lower than desired. Powerful, durable hollow rubber cushions help carry the heaviest loads easily. When loaded does the support put excessive load on the axle by bottoming out the suspension causing damage to the axle in self?

The Timbren kits remove weight from the spring pack and transfer it directly to the axle allowing the truck to ride higher when loaded. The Timbren aeons transfer weight to locations that are meant to bear the weight without damage. The Timbren aeons do not allow you to carry more than the GVWR and the only time damage may occur is if the vehicle is severely overloaded beyond the GVWR. Overloading damage would occur whether the Timbrens were installed or not.

Info says will not fit 2015 Gmc XFE model. What is that? I bought a 2015 GMC 1500 4x4 crew cab, with a 5.5 box. What product fits this? Thanks, Bryan.

Timbren Kit GMRCK15S is the correct model for a 2015 GMC 1500 4x4 Crew Cab. The XFE models are "Xtra Fuel Economy" and your truck will have an XFE emblem on it if you have this package. The XFE models are rare and we don't see too many of them.

Will the TGMRCK15S work on a 2005 2wd chevy silverado 4dr crew cab, will they effect the ride when I am not towing my trailer?

Timbren Kit GMRCK15S is designed to sit about 1" above your axle when you are not loaded, so it does not effect your ride. When you connect your trailer the overload spring will come into contact with your axle and prevent your truck from sagging.

What the warranty does not cover

Normal wear and tear over time, damage from abuse or neglect, corrosion, and damage resulting from accidents is not covered. Improper installation including welding will void any warranty. Any alteration of products beyond the included installation instructions will void the warranty. Labor, freight, collateral damage or ancillary costs which may arise as a result of the failed part.
