If the electric retrieval system did not work can you use a handle on the one side. I saw where you can use a socket set but is there enough strength to pull the boat on the trailer with a socket?

The gear reduction used in this unit will allow a boat to be recovered using a ratchet. It may be possible to fabricate a handle that could drive the hex on the emergency backup but Fulton does not currently offer an off the shelf handle.

Does this unit come with power cord from truck battery to winch ? Also what is the retrieval speed ? Thanks.

This unit includes 6 feet of wire and it is designed to attach to a 650CCA 12V Battery on the trailer. The retrieval speeds are 9.8 feet / minute @ 500LBS and 4.3 feet / minute @ 2500LBS

What the warranty does not cover

Normal wear and tear over time, damage from abuse or neglect, and damage resulting from accidents is not covered. Improper installation including welding will void any warranty. Any alteration of products beyond the included installation instructions will void the warranty.
