Is this a surface mount, or do I need to cut a hole for it to sit into?

This is not a surface mounted light. They are held in by a grommet VSM9526 and typically place in an existing hole. Feel free to contact us at 1-800-358-4751 if you need assistance finding the correct lamp for your application.

How is this attached to the trailer? Do you sell the 3 wire pigtails for this light? Is this a side marker light and built in signal light all in one?

These are held in by a grommet VSM9526. The pigtails are a VSM9128 for a right angle or a VSM9124 for a straight. We do not have them online, but do have them in stock. We will have them online soon. It is a side marker and a turn signal all in one.

VSM warrants that all its products will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 3 years.

What the Warranty does not cover

Damage from accidents, corrosion, improper installation, incorrect applications, overloading, and custom applications that are not specified under the OEM cross references. This warranty does not cover loss of freight, loss of profit, equipment, or personal downtime.
