These brackets work with Reese 10-bolt base rails and installation kit (sold separately) to install your fifth-wheel trailer hitch. Designed for Dodge Ram with overload springs. Hardware included.

  • Semi-custom brackets are specifically designed to fit your vehicle
  • Brackets replace traditional L-bend brackets in rear to fit trucks with overload springs
  • 2 Rear brackets, 2 carriage bolts, spacers and hardware included

I have a 2008 dodge 2500 quad cab 4x4 with airlift loadlifter 5000 air bags. I notice they say they may not work with a fifth wheel hitch unless it is a side mount. Is this true based on your earlier question that you have not had an issue with dodge trucks. Also with quad cab will I need a sliding hitch?

Answer:
The compatible air lift kits for the 2008 Ram 2500 will work with most side mount fifth wheel setups. A sliding hitch is typically needed with shorter bed lengths and the cab size does not play much of a roll in need for a slider. Feel free to call us at 1-800-358-4751 if you have any questions.

Will this item work with airlift helper air bags

Answer:
It will depend on which air bag kit you are installing it with and the model of your truck. We have not had any problems with Dodge trucks and installing air bag kits with 5th wheel hitches. Ford trucks have air bag kits that are specific to 5th wheel and gooseneck hitches, but typically we do not have any issues with Ram trucks. What the warranty does not cover

Normal wear and tear over time, damage from abuse or neglect, corrosion, and damage resulting from accidents is not covered. Improper installation including welding will void any warranty. Any alteration of products beyond the included installation instructions will void the warranty.
