Rough Country Front CV Drive Shaft 5090.1A for the 4WD Jeep JL Wrangler with Dana 30 Axle is necessary for Jeep JL models equipped with 3.5 and taller suspension lifts. Rough Country upgraded front CV driveshaft promotes the proper geometry in all on and off-road scenarios.

  • Collapsed Measurement: 36-3/8 inches
  • Extended Measurement: 39-1/2 inches
  • Eliminates facotry driveshaft damage at full droop
  • Works on Dana 30 axles ONLY
  • Includes better quality CV joints
  • Shaft strength is twice as strong as the factory equipped drive shaft
  • Grease fittings are out of the way of the transmission oil pan meaning you get grease to the joints that need it and not all over the botom of your Jeep

Installation/Fitment Notes

  • Works on Dana 30 axles ONLY
  • Recommended on models with 3.5 inches or more of lift.
  • An aftermarket driveshaft is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for installation of any Jeep JL lift kit 3.5 inches or taller. The factory driveshaft will become damaged if the suspension reaches full droop or flex.

Rough Country products are warranted to be free from defects in material and craftsmanship for the time periods listed. Some suspension components are prone to gradual wear and tear over time and therefore are not covered within the Lifetime Replacement Warranty.

Warranty Guard

This free protection supplements your manufacturer's warranty, guaranteeing that if you are denied repair due to having a Warranty Guard protected product on your vehicle, then Rough Country will foot the bill for your repair! For up to 5 years / 100K miles / or until your manufacturer's warranty ends, if there is a failure of a factory warranty-covered part due to installation of a Rough Country suspension product, Rough Country will cover the repairs at a factory authorized shop - all you pay is a $100 deductible!

What the warranty does not cover

Wear and tear items such as mountings, bushings, diminished shock and stabilizer dampening resistance, finish, dents and scratches, as these components and issues can wear out or occur naturally over time. These items are covered under a separate Limited Warranty along with other non-suspension items listed above. Replacements for non-defective items broken during off-road use may incur shipping charges.
