Automann 170.279000 Details

The TP-3 Tractor Protection Valve is part of big truck air brake systems. It's made mainly to keep the tractor's air supply safe. When a trailer breaks away or a big air line leaks, the TP-3 valve cuts off the tractor's service and emergency circuits. This stops the system from losing all its pressure and lets the driver keep the brakes working.

The standard TP-3 valve has two lines and is not automatic. It's made to fit with dash-mounted push-pull control valves, such as the PP-3 or PP-7.
