Bilstein B8 5100 (Ride Height Adjustable) shock absorbers are designed for trucks and SUVs with a front OE coilover style suspension. Multiple snap-ring grooves in the body allow for different spring seat positions, providing 0-3 inches of front lift with OE springs (depending on application). The monotube shock absorbers feature a 46mm digressive piston a with self-adjusting deflective disc valve setting.

I have a 2010 f150 with a 6 inch rough country lift. I want to get these shocks to add a potential of 2.75 inches more lift, would i need to buy 4 of these or 2 of these for the back and a diffrent type for the front?

Bilstein shock 24-187466 is designed to work with a stock height truck and the provide up to 2.5 inches of lift. It is not recommended to use them an existing 6 inch lift to provide extra lift. Bilstein does not make rear shocks that provide lift. They made taller rear shocks for trucks that are already lifted. Feel free to call us a 1-800-358-4751 if you have any questions.

Yes, Bilstein shock 24-187466 will fit a 2012 Ford F-150 Harley-Davidson Edition V8 6.2L. It fits the 2 wheel drive F-150's. It will work with a stock height F-150 and has an optional adjustment of up to 2.5 inches.

I have a 2011 Ford F150 Lariat with a 6" suspension lift on it.If I install this shock will it actually give me another potential 2" of lift?

The Bilstein 5100 Series Ride Height Adjustable Shocks use an adjustable lower spring seat to change the ride height on vehicles with a coil over strut in the front. They have multiple adjustment options to fine tune the ride height. These shocks are typically used on stock height vehicles to provide up to 2.5" of lift. If your lift kit uses a strut spacer on top they could potentially be used to add additional lift to your truck. You would need to verify that the setup would not exceed the collapsed and extended lengths of the shock itself to avoid damage.

If a shock/strut malfunctions and BILSTEIN determines it to be defective, Bilstein will either replace it or repair it, depending on the term of the warranty based on the assembly's model type.

2 Year Limited Warranty - On B4 OE Replacement (Air) / Steering Racks.

Lifetime Limited Warranty - On gas pressure shock absorbers and struts for as long as you, the original purchaser, own your car. This covers B4 OE Replacement, B6 and B6 Performance, B8 Performance Plus, B12 Series, B14, B16, B6 4600, B8 5100, B8 5100 (Ride Height Adjustable), B8 5112, and B8 6112.

90 Day Limited Warranty - On B8 5125, B8 5150, B8 5160, B8 5165, M 7100 Series, B8 8125, M 9100 Series, M 9300 Series, BILSTEIN Club sport series.

What the warranty does not cover

Original equipment shock absorbers: if your vehicle was equipped with BILSTEIN from the factory (original equipment) warranty claims must be directed to the vehicle manufacturer.*

Improper installation, racing, driving competition or off-road use, modified use or applications other than Bilstein recommended vehicles, commercial vehicles, bent or broken rods showing abuse or abnormal wear, surface finish, boot or mounting hardware, rubber bushings are not covered.

Labor charges are not covered by any of the foregoing limited warranties.
