Bilstein B6 4600 shock absorbers are designed as a direct fit upgrade to OE shock absorbers on stock height light trucks and SUV’s. These shock absorbers feature a monotube design which provides consistent fade free performance. B6 4600 shock absorbers utilize a unique, velocity sensitive, digressive piston which reacts to changing road conditions. All B6 4600 shock absorbers are tuned for each specific application to ensure optimal performance is achieved.

Does the shock tube go up or down, (boot up or down) on the front shocks of a 02 Ford F250 4X4. 4600 series shock. No instructions with shocks. Thanks Ed

Bilstein shock 33-028187 mounts boot down. You can tell which way a Bilstein shock mounts by the Bilstein lettering on the side of the shock. For the 33-028187 the lettering is on the top of the shock and it would read upside down if it was boot up.

What the warranty does not cover

Original equipment shock absorbers: if your vehicle was equipped with BILSTEIN from the factory (original equipment) warranty claims must be directed to the vehicle manufacturer.*

Improper installation, racing, driving competition or off-road use, modified use or applications other than Bilstein recommended vehicles, commercial vehicles, bent or broken rods showing abuse or abnormal wear, surface finish, boot or mounting hardware, rubber bushings are not covered.

Labor charges are not covered by any of the foregoing limited warranties.
