Our high quality silpper open eye trailer springs are sold individually, but it is recommended to change them in pairs. Slipper open eye trailer leaf springs are painted black and include the bushings.

As best as I can tell my 2 axle heavy duty boat trailer has 25 1/4" springs on it. From center of bolt hole to center of bolt hole is 24" They are very old and worn out. Am I measuring it wrong? Will your 26 1/4" springs fit? I will need four of them and u bolt kits to fit 2 1/4" round axles as well. Thanks, Roger

The free open length measurement can change depending on the load that is placed on the spring or the amount of wear. Another more accurate measurement can be taken along the length of the main leaf following the curve from the center to each end, this is given on our drawing as the A and B length. For this MTS-264 spring, the "A" length is 13.75" and the "B" length is 14.10". Our video on the main trailer spring page has information on tasking these measurements. This measurement will not change with the arch of the spring so it will help with ensuring the spring lengths are correct. If you need extra help please contact us as we can also provide the u-bolts you need also but we will need additional measurements.
