can i use it for my truck?

Answer:

This is an 8 wire universal switch that is designed to work with electric vehicles and is most commonly used in golf cart applications. We do have truck turn signal switches that are sold by crossing the manufacturer part number.

Question:

I purchased a VSM 920 signal switch with horn button, VSM 558 flasher and a VSM 9186 flasher connector assembly. Installation instructions reference a blue wire to connect between the switch and flasher pilot connection, BUT the switch does not have a blue wire. Which wire connects to the flasher pilot connection?

Answer:

We spoke with the manufacturer and they advised there is no blue wire on the switch. They said the 3 prong flasher does not require 3 wires and it will on affect the operation of he turn signal switch. Does the VSM-920 turn signal switch have the "lift lever to select high/low beam headlights" feature, similar to the VSM-905 unit? I'm looking for the following functions:(L/R turn flasher, 4-way hazard flasher, horn button, high/low headlight beam selector,)in a "strap-on" style turn signal switch. Break override function would be nice, but, I do not want wiper/washer controls nor the flash lights feature . Have you any suggestions? Reginald Allen, (Jim) regallen@att.net Austin, Tx

VSM-920 Turn Signal switch does not have a high beam level. We do not show a turn signal switch with all the functions you are looking for.
