Rigid mount coupler, rated from 30,000 to 50,000 lbs Maximum Drawbar Pull and a 500 lbs. Maximum Vertical Load, for 3 inch drawbar eye compatible. Designed for a variety of industrial material handling and ground support equipment towing applications.
Features:
- Flex-Mount bolt pattern gives you the ability to choose your DBP capacity.
- High-strength, cast steel frame, pin and handle.
- Upper Pin Guard and an internally mounted spring helps protect the e-Hitch from impacts.
- Interchangeable handle settings allows you to quickly and easily switch from fold-down to rigid setting.
- The 2.125 inch (54mm) diameter steel pin minimizes towbar ‘slop’. Pin wear is decreased due to it’s larger surface area and heat-treating to increase hardness.
- Auto-lock Pin locks automatically upon closing, then unlocks witha 1/8-turn of the handle when opening
- Throat area features a negative slope to minimize towbar ‘chucking’ (bouncing).
- Keyway is designed into the pin, and the key is designed into the frame. This eliminates the need to ‘hunt’ for the keyway when opening and closing.
- Corrosion resistant coatings on all components.
- The integral keyway also includes a ‘hold-open’ position via a 1/8-turn of the handle.
- Simple design for easy part replacement.
- A choice of yellow or white powder coat frame is available.
IMPORTANT: There is no secondary lock mechanism. This coupler is not designed for over-the- road applications.
