Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs

Firestone air helper springs are designed to fit inside existing coil spring suspensions, creating a variable rate spring. These air helper springs are made of durable, elastic polyurethane providing years of comfort and stability to your vehicle.

Coil-Rite air helper springs provide extra support for coil springs in cars, minivans, vans, light trucks, RVs and SUVs. The complete adjustability of these air helper springs will level your vehicle, provide a smoother ride, more effective braking and handling, even under heavy loading and adverse road conditions.

Firestone's Coil-Rite air helper springs enable adjustment for varying loads and road conditions by inflating or deflating the air helper springs. Spring performance can be altered as easily as inflating a tire. The air springs will support 500-1000 lbs per set.(Note: Do not exceed the vehicle's recommended Gross Vehicle Weight Rating)

I have a 2014 f350 with a set of 2.5 icon dual stage front col spring looking for a set of front air bags Firestone that will work and I have a 8.2 plow and plow package from factory what bag set will work thanks Jerry

Answer:

Since the coil springs have been replaced with aftermarket items the dimensions of your new coils will need to be measured to confirm the correct sized coil air bags are ordered. The inner diameter and the length of the coil from spring seat to spring seat will need to be measured with the normal weight on the coils for the correct sizing. After you have these measurements please email us or give us a call and we can try to match you up with a universal coil bag kit for your truck.

In the kit that is provided I got the 90's that we're provided but I need two straights can I get them.

Answer:

We spoke with Firestone tech and they advised they do not make a straight fitting that connects / screws into the air bag. Feel free to call us at 1-800-358-4751 and we can see if we can help. We are not sure what you are trying to accomplish, but we may be able to help. We have never had a request for a straight fitting for a Firestone 4101 Coil-Rite kit

What is the operating pressure range? How do you determine the optimum pressure setting?

Answer:

Firestone air spring kit 4101 has an operating pressure range of 10-60 psi. The optimal pressure setting will vary with how much weight your are carrying and the condition of your coil springs. If you are towing a trailer we recommend inflating the air springs to 15-20 psi, then connecting your trailer. You can then inflate your air springs until you get your desired height and ride that you are looking for. If you have an onboard air compressor system it is easier to accomplish. After a awhile you will know what is optimal for your setup from testing a few different psi settings in your air springs.

Firestone warrants its HD Air Spring products against defects in workmanship or material for a period of 2 years.

What this warranty does not cover

Damage from accidents, corrosion, improper installation, incorrect applications, overloading, and custom applications that are not specified under the OEM cross references. This warranty does not cover loss of freight, loss of profit, equipment, or personal downtime.

2 Year Warranty

On brackets and hardware included in Ride-Rite air spring and Ride-Rite compressor kits.

2 Year Warranty

On Work-Rite urethane products.

2 Year Warranty

On Heavy Duty, Xtra Heavy Duty, and Xtreme compressor systems.

1 Year Warranty

On Light Duty and Standard Duty Ride-Rite compressor kits.

Firestone warrants its products against defects in workmanship or material for the above.

How to get service

If you purchased your air springs in the U.S. or Canada and believe you have a part with a warrantable defect, call Firestone Customer Service at 1-800-888-0650 (option 1 for Ride-Rite, option 1 again, then option 4 for warranty). Representatives are available from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (EST) Monday – Friday.
