SumoSpring Maxim

SumoSprings Maxim is a one-piece, homogenous unit attached both top and bottom via steel brackets. The Maxim helper spring is manufactured in a variety of heights, diameters and densities to support multiple applications.

Overview

All SumoSprings are manufactured from proprietary closed microcellular urethane which yields a combination of uniquely distinctive properties. The materials density, tensile strength, elongation, tear resistance, rebound, and compression characteristics have been designed specifically to produce a smooth ride and provide additional load support.

Greater resistance with heavier loads = progressive load control

Compresses up to 80% of their original height with full memory rebound
Expands up to 50% of their original height when connected both at the top and bottom

SumoSpring Densities

In addition to the above mounting styles, SumoSprings are also available in three densities. SumoSpring densities are distinguished according to color as shown below, ranging from light and medium, to heavy duty. When multiple densities are available, pick the density that best suits your needs and ride preferences.

The Blue-40 density traps more air in the millions of micro-cellular bubbles, making an air spring sufficient for light and medium duty performance.

The Black-47 density evenly distributes the amount of urethane and air bubbles to produce an air spring sufficient for light, medium, and heavy duty performance.

The Yellow-54 density captures a smaller amount of air in the air spaces making a harder air spring sufficient for medium and heavy duty performance.

SuperSprings

SuperSprings International was founded in 1996 and has developed a patented line of self-adjusting suspension stabilizers that solve many of the handling and suspension problems associated with loads carried by passenger vans, pickup trucks, minivans, and SUVs.

SuperSprings Internationals products give users extra loading and towing capacity and prevent rear-end sag without hardening the ride on vehicles having leaf spring rear suspension systems.

SuperSprings was developed for the American market with production initially established in California to serve the market on the West Coast. Marketing efforts have continued to expand and SuperSprings Helper Springs and SuperSway sway control are now distributed through a national dealer and distributor network throughout North America.

Product applications for SuperSprings have evolved from being solely for pickup trucks to a broad cross section of vehicles including SUVs, 15 passenger vans, minivans, and RVs including Class C motor homes and campers. SuperSprings have also been accepted by large-scale manufacturers in the van conversion business.

What the warranty does not cover

Vehicle use in excess of GVWR, combined vehicle weights/ tow ratings or other OEM design specifications or limitations. Normal wear and tear, deterioration of spring shape or rating, alteration, product modification, improper installation or failure to maintain. Scratches or defects in product finishes (powder coating, paint, etc.) or damage due to shipping. Abnormal or misuse, including products used other than as recommended in the current SuperSprings™ application guide or the instructions. Racing or other vehicle competitions or contests. Accidents, impact by rocks, trees, obstacles or other aspects of the environment. Heavily loaded commercial use on unpaved road conditions.
