Hellwig EZ 1000

These EZ-1000 helper spring kits from Hellwig can be easily adjusted to meet your changing needs. The springs are hot-formed and heat-treated for strength and durability, and help to provide a safer, level ride. Made with high-quality ASTM 5150 alloy spring steel, they're designed to end rear-end sag and increase your vehicles level load carrying capacity up to the manufacturer’s Gross Vehicle Weight Rating. Their single split-leaf design and 1,000 lb. level load capacity is ideal for medium loads, giving you more control through level load management. They're easy to install--they just bolt right on without any hard-to-install compressors or air bags to fail.

Th EZ-1000 Hellwig Helper Spring is packaged complete with the same heavy duty powder coated and plated components, hardware and installation instructions as the heavy duty helper spring products. Ideally suited for light towing and loads, these units are fully adjustable using the heavy duty u-bolts included in the kit using simple hand tools. If your tow and haul needs change, simply adjust the heavy duty u-bolts to suit the new requirement. Once installed and adjusted you are free to haul and or tow a multitude of equipment and commodities with greater control and stability.

Can only the rear helper springs be installed on the leaf pack for 500lbs. increased capacity? I don't need an extra 1,000lbs. increased capacity often, usually 500lbs. But, I would like the option to install both helpers when necessary.

Yes, you can install only a portion of the helper spring kit on the front or the back of the leaf pack to cut down on the weight capacity of the kit. You can always add the other half of the kit if needed later down the road.

This is not a direct fit for the Chrysler Grand Voyager. We spoke with Hellwig tech and they advised they would need measurements of your leaf springs as this vehicle is not sold in North America.

We spoke with Hellwig tech support and they advised If they you have room on the springs they will work. On the rear of the spring they are putting 18 ½ inch helper spring and in the front of the spring pack 14 ¾ inch. and the leaf springs have to be 2 ½ inches wide.

I know they say they fit an s10 bit it also says they sit on top of your spring pack. Will these work with the axle on top of the spring pack as in the case of an s10?

Yes, Hellwig helper spring 1250 will work with the axle on top of the leaf springs. These helper springs are 2 individual leaves per side. One will sit on each side of the axle.

We have a great working relationship with Hellwig and are very familiar with all of their suspension products. Hellwig products are made in the USA and we highly recommend them.

The history of Hellwig Products Co, Inc. began in Kansas City, Kansas in the early forties. With son Donald by his side, Rudolph, " Ruddy" Hellwig, began designing and manufacturing "Helper Springs". The business was moved to Southern California in the mid forties and incorporated in 1946.

By the mid 60's the company's southern California location proved to be to small and Don moved the Manufacturing facility to its current location in Visalia, California. Throughout the years Hellwig products has developed innovative suspension products that help vehicles handle loads and control sway. Products include Anti-Sway bars aftermarket and O.E.M. Also the most popular and imitated load assist products ever introduced to the light truck aftermarket, the "Load Pro 25 Series".

With a third generation of Hellwig, Don's son Mark directing the business a whole new series of innovations is being introduced. Damage from accidents, corrosion, improper installation, incorrect applications, overloading, and custom applications that are not specified under the OEM cross references. This warranty does not cover loss of freight, loss of profit, equipment, or personal downtime. Hellwig’s warranties are non-transferrable.
