Hellwig Motorsports Sway Bars

Precision engineered and 100% American made, Hellwig is the only aftermarket manufacturer that offers solid, tubular, and heat-treated sway bars to match any suspension requirement. Hellwig Motorsports sway bars are track tested and street proven and provide modern technology for your vintage muscle car and leading edge performance for your modern performance vehicle.

Hellwig Motorsports rear sway bars feature 3 point adjustability as well as adjustable end links to accommodate modified ride heights. Patent pending mounting components are only available in Hellwig Motorsports kits.

Tubular Sway Bars

Hellwig Motorsports Tubular sway bars feature the latest designs and utilize high strength tubular DOM steel to maximize performance but with up to half the weight of a solid bar. Hellwig quality shows in the details such as end treatments where the sway bar is tapered from round to flat to eliminate stress risers. The ends are radiused for better clearance and a clean appearance. All bends are done on computer-controlled benders to provide consistent bends in a sway bar that fits right every time.

Solid Sway Bars

For over 40 years Hellwig Motorsports solid sway bars have been the leader in strength, durability, and performance. These solid sway bars are made from heat treated chromolly steel. Featuring an average tensile strength of 170,000 psi, they are unmatched in strength and durability. All Hellwig solid sway bars feature forged ends, never welded, with Hellwig’s proprietary end treatment to maximize strength.

TruckSpring is a warehouse distributor for Hellwig products and we have been installing Hellwig air spring kits, Hellwig sway bars and Hellwig steel helper springs kits at our shop for years at our Michigan repair facility. We have a great working relationship with Hellwig and are very familiar with all of their suspension products. Hellwig products are made in the USA and we highly recommend them.

The history of Hellwig Products Co, Inc. began in Kansas City, Kansas in the early forties. With son Donald by his side, Rudolph, " Ruddy" Hellwig, began designing and manufacturing "Helper Springs". The business was moved to Southern California in the mid forties and incorporated in 1946.

By the mid 60's the company's southern California location proved to be to small and Don moved the Manufacturing facility to its current location in Visalia, California. Throughout the years Hellwig products has developed innovative suspension products that help vehicles handle loads and control sway. Products include Anti-Sway bars aftermarket and O.E.M. Also the most popular and imitated load assist products ever introduced to the light truck aftermarket, the "Load Pro 25 Series".

With a third generation of Hellwig, Don's son Mark directing the business a whole new series of innovations is being introduced. Included in these innovations is the "Next Generation" of load assist springs the patented "Pro Series" line of springs. Plus, a unique adjustable feature on new Anti-sway bar designs. Hellwig is proud to introduce the "FastRack" motorcycle racking system for toyhaulers and light trucks. Now beginning its 60th year Hellwig Products continues to introduce new materials, processes and manufacturing techniques into its product lines.
